| Malwarebytes starts blocking mining scripts |  |
| Malwarebytes are taking steps to begin blocking cryptocurrency mining java scripts embedded into certain websites. The scripts, the most popular of which was created by Coin Hive, use the the visiting device’s hardware resources to mine cryptocurrency. In the case of Coin Hive the script mines Monero. Adam Kujawa, director of Malwarebytes Labs, has stated "We do not claim that Coin Hive is malicious, or even necessarily a bad idea," but has also said "The execution of it is another story." At this stage there is no way to know if your device is being used (except for high, unexplained resource usage) and no regulated way to opt in or out. Malwarebytes will now block Coin Hive and other scripts until necessary changes are made to improve visibility. You can read more ManageEngine Team. | |

| Nuance releases update for Dragon Professional Individual 6 |  |
| Nuance has released an update to Dragon Professional Individual for Mac 6.0. This is a free update for existing Macintosh version 6 customers. The update incorporates support for High Sierra and resolves a registration issue after installation. Users can upgrade Dragon Professional Individual for Mac by navifating to menu icon > Preferences > Updates, and press the "Check for Updates Now" button. | |
