| A fond farewell to Aaron Bhashkar |  |
| After more than 20 years at Soft Solutions, Aaron Bhashkar has decided to move on. Aaron has been with SofSol since 1997 and in that time has held a variety of positions – from working on our sales team, being the first point of contact for our Tier one partners and helping to grow our VoIP portfolio to where it is today. He will be deeply missed by all of us here at Soft Solutions and we wish him all the best as he heads off to the Bay of Plenty. Farewell Aaron!!! | |

| WPA2 ‘KRACK’ Vulnerability Discovered | |
| The big news story this week was the announcement of the WPA2 vulnerability, nicknamed ‘KRACK’. With WPA2 being THE standard when it comes to securing Wi-Fi traffic, the revelation that it could be thwarted has left the industry scrambling to release patches and firmware updates to fix the problem as soon as possible. | Western Digital to provide 40TB drives by 2025 |  |
| Western Digital have announced a new technology allowing them to create Hard Drives with capacities of up to 40TB. The proprietary technology will allow them to compress 4Tb of data per square inch of disk by integrating microwave technology into the writing process.
