Space X sends “Starman” to Mars
Elon Musk’s company, Space X, has launched itself into history this week. It’s Falcon Heavy rocket set a few land marks by being the largest rocket to be launched into space since the Saturn V rockets that took man to the moon. On top of that it was the first rocket to use recycled boosters. Those same boosters after detaching from the rocket, also return back to earth and landed simultaneously at adjacent landing pads at Florida’s Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. A third booster wasn’t so lucky, crashing into the ocean after its boosters failed. The Falcon Heavy was carrying a cherry red Tesla Roadster now on its way to Mars with a special test dummy, nicknamed “Starman”. You can read more about the story here.
