The CA/Browser Forum has approved Apple’s proposal to reduce TLS certificate lifetimes and validation reuse periods—taking full effect by March 15, 2029.

These shortened timeframes will make manual certificate management increasingly unsustainable, raising the risk of costly outages and compliance issues.
