Two Days of 3CX Technical Training
We’re delighted to have Nicholas Paras, the CEO and Technical Trainer of Paratech, running our upcoming 3CX Basic and Advanced technical training sessions. Many of you will be familiar with Nicholas, who was formerly the 3CX Technical Trainer for over 10 years. Nicholas now specialises in 3CX training and services and will be delivering our training sessions in April.
- 3CX Basic Technical Training = Tuesday 28th April 8.45am to 4.30pm Online
- 3CX Advanced Technical Training = Wednesday 29th April 8.45am to 4.30pm Online.
IMPORTANT: Preparation to complete prior to the training:
Create/register your 3CX account:
- To sit the 3CX exams, you’ll need your own personal account. This account can be linked to the business to show your certifications for the company.
- Visit: https://www.3cx.com/try/?ft=n&source=account-creation to register your account, have your 3CX company admin link your account to the business.

Day 1 – Basic Technical Training:

- Chapter 2: Set up your Team

- Chapter 5: Call Handling
- Chapter 6: Messaging
Day 2 – Advanced Technical Training:
- Chapter 7: 3CX On-premise & Self-Hosting
- Chapter 8: Firewall Configuration
- Chapter 9: Backup & Restore
- Chapter 10: Bridges
- Chapter 11: Basic Troubleshooting
- Chapter 12: Security & Anti-fraud
Your Bluechip Online Event
Important information: It’s imperative that each person has their own computer and headset to avoid distractions for themselves and other participants in the day. Questions and discussion are highly encouraged for all participants to gain as much knowledge as possible.
At 8.45 am each day: Attendees login, ensure they have 3CX Accounts to sit the exams against and no technology issues. 8.55am: Welcome from Megan with basic housekeeping. 9.00am: Session 1 will start with the first two modules. 11.00am: 15-min break after first two modules. 11.15am: Session 2 with the next two modules. 1.15pm: 45 min lunch break. 2.00pm: Session 3 with the last two modules for the day. 4.00pm: End of training, all candidates to sit exams before end of day. Attendees to send certificates to uc@bluechipit.co.nz. Should a participant not pass the exam, they should email uc@bluechipit.co.nz and we’ll arrange additional assitance and revision once the stand down period has passed.
